VERDICCHIO DI MATELICA

There are some commissions where the solution just bursts out and this was such a one. The brief was an illustration for a wine label for our longtime client, Fortnum & Mason, and there was no styling restrictions. I just loved this project. The zingy, juicy, flavours of the wine just needed a zingy, juicy response. Keeping the energy of the original oil crayon drawing I overworked with textures to reflect the complexity of the wine. Not only was it loved by me as I worked on it, it shines out from the shop shelf.
