Excuse the mess! But I have news…

Apologies, people, while I reconfigure / refresh / reconstruct / rehash my blog. It's taken me a while to get around to do this and I had a major setback when in late 2021 I found out that somehow (no explanation yet) all my images - years of illustrations and photos - were 'lost' by my host provider. They’re no longer my host provider you’ll not be too shocked to learn!

Anyway, I've decided to avail of the opportunity to sort the blog out and get it back to some sort of regularity. So excuse the mess, step over the bits lying around and I hope to get back to a sort of 'new normal' soon (whenever soon is). Thanking you in advance.

So… the news… it may not be exciting for you (more apologies) but it is for me. Next month, 28th April 2022 to be exact, my stamp designs for An Post, the Irish Post Office, will be issued! Sooooo excited and I only hope the public will love them as much as I loved the project. I was commissioned early 2020 to create 4 stamps on the theme “Irish Breakfasts” - a gift of a project - and originally they were to have been issued in 2021 but… well, y’know…. Covid put a stop to that timescale. However, I did have a lovely project to work on during 2020 that kept me focussed and upbeat. For that I’m grateful alone.

Anyway I’ll post again when they’re out and Show and Tell all about how I approached it and you can see for yourselves the results.
